New Nissan Patrol Y63 Pricing Confirmed for New Zealand- Orders Now Open at Ingham Nissan
The wait is nearly over. Nissan New Zealand has confirmed pricing and specifications for the all-new Nissan Patrol Y63, bringing a new twin-turbo V6 powertrain, increased towing capability, upgraded technology and a choice of four well-equipped variants to Kiwi drivers.
Due to arrive in New Zealand in early 2027, the new-generation Patrol will start from $120,990, with orders now open through Ingham Nissan. For drivers looking for a serious luxury SUV with genuine off-road capability, the new Patrol represents a substantial evolution of one of Nissan’s most recognisable nameplates.
New Nissan Patrol Y63 Starts From $120,990*
The 2027 Nissan Patrol Y63 range will open with the Patrol Ti, priced from $120,990.
That puts the new model just $2,000 above the outgoing Y62 Patrol’s starting price, despite significant changes to its engine, transmission, technology and equipment.
The New Zealand range will comprise four variants:
For the first time, the Patrol is powered by an advanced 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine, paired with a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission.
Producing 317kW of power and 700Nm of torque, the new powertrain delivers:
- Patrol Ti – from $120,990+ORC
- Patrol Ti-L – from $136,990+ORC
- Patrol Pro-4X from $145,990+ORC
- Patrol Ti-L Reserve – from $150,490+ORC
With four grades available, buyers can choose between generously equipped touring models, the adventure-focused Pro-4X and the flagship luxury of the Ti-L Reserve.
Powerful New 3.5-Litre Twin-Turbo V6
One of the biggest changes under the bonnet is the move away from the outgoing Patrol’s naturally aspirated 5.6-litre V8.
The Y63 is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V6, producing an impressive 317kW of power and 700Nm of torque.
Those figures represent increases of 19kW and 140Nm compared with the outgoing 5.6-litre V8, giving the new Patrol substantially more torque for demanding driving conditions.
The V6 is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel-drive system, while an electronic locking differential adds to its capability away from sealed roads.
Drivers will also have access to eight drive and terrain modes, allowing the Patrol’s setup to be adapted to different surfaces and conditions.
The new Patrol isn’t just more powerful – it’s also ready for serious towing.
Nissan has confirmed a 3.7-tonne braked towing capacity, making the Y63 an appealing proposition for Kiwi drivers towing larger boats, caravans and trailers.
Combined with 700Nm of torque, full-time four-wheel drive and the new nine-speed transmission, the Patrol has been designed to retain the versatility and capability that have made the nameplate popular with drivers who need their SUV to do much more than the school run.
The Patrol Ti opens the new Y63 range and comes with a strong standard equipment list.
Inside, occupants are greeted by dual 12.3-inch displays, while tri-zone climate control helps keep all three rows comfortable. Synthetic leather seating is also standard.
On the outside, the Patrol Ti rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, providing a purposeful introduction to the new-generation range.
Moving up to the Patrol Ti-L brings an even greater emphasis on technology, comfort and premium features.
The cabin gains two large 14.3-inch displays, complemented by a premium Klipsch audio system.
The Ti-L rides on machined 20-inch alloy wheels and features Nissan’s eDamper electronically controlled shock absorbers, designed to enhance the Patrol’s ride and handling.
Additional comfort and convenience features include a panoramic glass sunroof, privacy glass for the second and third rows and a power tailgate.
For the first time, New Zealand buyers will be able to get behind the wheel of a Patrol Pro-4X.
Priced from $145,990, the Pro-4X takes the new Patrol in a distinctly adventure-focused direction.
Its equipment includes an air suspension system with electronically controlled shock absorbers, while all-terrain tyres fitted to 20-inch wheels help prepare it for more challenging terrain.
The Pro-4X also receives its own distinctive front fascia, giving it a tougher visual identity within the Patrol family.
Despite its off-road focus, comfort hasn’t been forgotten. Front occupants benefit from heated and cooled seats, while there’s also a heated steering wheel and a chilled centre console – particularly welcome additions on long New Zealand road trips.
Sitting at the top of the New Zealand range is the Patrol Ti-L Reserve, priced from $150,490.
The flagship combines much of the technology and equipment available elsewhere in the range with an even greater focus on luxury.
It stands apart visually with imposing 22-inch alloy wheels, while the interior receives genuine leather-accented upholstery.
Passengers haven’t been overlooked either. Second-row occupants get dual 12.8-inch entertainment displays, helping make the Ti-L Reserve particularly well suited to long-distance family touring.

The all-new Nissan Patrol Y63 is expected to arrive in New Zealand in early 2027, and orders are now open.
