Not significantly. The Ranger Hybrid still achieves a braked towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg – matching the diesel Ranger.
How do I charge the Ranger Hybrid and what charging infrastructure do I need?
The vehicle comes with a standard home plug-in charging cord. It can be charged via a regular wall outlet or a home wall-box if you have one. Typical full charge times depend on the outlet and state of charge.
Will using the battery and hybrid system increase servicing or maintenance?
The hybrid system is built from the ground up for the Ranger platform, maintaining durability standards whilst adding electrified components. Routine servicing remains similar, and the benefit is in lower fuel consumption and emissions.
