The next chapter of Nissan capability has arrived. The 2025 Navara is powered by a refined 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine, delivering 150kW and 470Nm for confident towing, overtaking, and heavy-duty work. Paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic, the Navara is designed to perform whether you’re towing tools during the week or gearing up for adventures in the weekend.
With a braked 3,500kg towing capacity, the Navara has the muscle to meet serious work demands.
Locally Tuned Suspension
To ensure the Navara handles New Zealand’s unique mix of city streets, rural roads, and off-road tracks, Nissan partnered with Premcar to locally tune the suspension.
The team completed 18,000 km of real-world testing, refining the ride across gravel, corrugations, towing scenarios, and daily driving.
The result is a ute that feels planted, predictable, and comfortable, whether you’re hauling loads or exploring the back country.
The new model also returns to rear leaf-spring suspension, improving load-carrying durability and stability.

With a robust ladder-frame platform and a payload capacity ranging from 950–1,047 kg (depending on grade), the Navara carries gear with confidence. Its strengthened structure is built to handle demanding worksites and outdoor adventures alike.
