Kia EV4. Redefining everyday driving
1 October, 2025
The Kia EV4 is the latest addition to Kia’s growing family of electric vehicles, combining a sleek fastback design with cutting-edge technology, long-range capability, and advanced safety features. Arriving in New Zealand in 2025, this all-electric model is set to redefine everyday driving with its perfect blend of style, comfort, and performance.
Extended Range and Fast Charging
At the heart of the Kia EV4 is Kia’s fourth-generation 81.4kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering up to 633km (WLTP) of driving range on a single charge. Whether you’re commuting around town or heading off on a long road trip, the EV4 is built to go the distance.
When it’s time to recharge, the EV4 supports ultra-fast DC charging, reaching 10–80% in just 31 minutes with a 350kW charger. For everyday convenience, AC charging is supported at up to 11kW, making it easy to top up overnight.
Spacious Interior and Immersive Technology
Inside, the Kia EV4 offers a thoughtfully designed cabin with a completely flat floor, providing generous legroom for five passengers. The interior is equipped with an ultra-wide 30-inch panoramic display, seamless smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and—on GT-Line models—a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
Comfort is at the forefront too, with available heated and ventilated front seats, premium relaxation seating, and dual-zone climate control. It’s a modern driving space tailored for long journeys and everyday use.
Advanced Safety and Driving Confidence
Like Kia’s flagship EV9, the EV4 benefits from a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Driving Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.
GT-Line models further add features such as a Surround View Monitor and Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, ensuring peace of mind in city streets and on the open road.
Always Connected with Kia Connect™
The Kia Connect™ app transforms the EV4 into a smart companion. Drivers can remotely check vehicle status, pre-set cabin temperatures, track real-time location, and even access Valet Mode for extra security. With Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, the EV4 continuously improves its performance and safety features without needing a visit to the dealership
Warranty and Peace of Mind
Every new Kia EV4 sold in New Zealand comes with:
- 7-year / 150,000km warranty
- 8-year / 160,000km battery warranty
- 5 years of roadside assistance
- Complimentary 5-year Kia Connect™ subscription
This strong warranty package reinforces Kia’s confidence in its electric future and provides customers with reassurance long after purchase.
The Shape of Things to Come
With its striking fastback silhouette, long-distance electric capability, and advanced in-car technology, the Kia EV4 is more than just a new model—it’s a glimpse into the future of mobility.
For New Zealand drivers looking for a stylish, practical, and eco-friendly electric vehicle, the EV4 is an exciting new choice.
