The mild Hybrid system combines a 48V Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) with a 1.4-liter Boosterjet turbocharged engine, enhancing fuel efficiency and power. Plus, it charges a 10 Ah lithium-ion battery during deceleration, which also powers various electrical systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the S-Cross Hybrid features a 95 kW 1,373 cm3 K14D Boosterjet Turbo engine that delivers a strong power spread, especially at lower rev ranges. It produces 235 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm, a remarkable 6.8% increase compared to the standard 1.4 Boosterjet model.

Moreover, towing capacity has been improved, allowing for a maximum braked trailer weight of 1,500 kg. The vehicle’s electrically operated rack and pinion steering, along with ventilated front disc brakes, make for a smoother and more responsive driving experience.
