MY26 Nissan Z Pricing Announced Ahead of September Arrival

Nissan New Zealand has officially announced local pricing for the updated MY26 Nissan Z, with the refreshed sports coupe set to arrive in dealerships from September 2026.

The latest range introduces one of the most anticipated additions yet—a six-speed manual transmission for the Z NISMO, giving driving enthusiasts even more choice.

The standard Nissan Z Coupe continues to offer outstanding value, with pricing remaining unchanged at $89,990. Buyers can choose between a traditional six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing drivers to select the experience that best suits their style.

The performance-focused Z NISMO also retains its existing price of $108,500, with both the new manual and automatic variants available at the same recommended retail price.

Under the bonnet, the proven 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine carries over unchanged. In the standard Z, it delivers 298kW of power and 475Nm of torque, while the Z NISMO raises performance to 309kW and 520Nm, offering even sharper acceleration and response.

Alongside the introduction of the manual NISMO, the MY26 update brings a number of visual and engineering enhancements. A redesigned front fascia gives the Z a more distinctive appearance, while the new Unryu Green exterior colour adds a fresh option inspired by the model’s rich heritage.

Performance upgrades extend beyond styling. The Z NISMO now features GT-R-derived front brake rotors, helping reduce unsprung weight by approximately 9kg. The updated model also receives new NISMO monotube dampers, designed to deliver improved body control while maintaining everyday ride comfort.

Speaking about the updated range, Steve Milette, Managing Director of Nissan Oceania, highlighted the significance of the latest additions.

Introducing a manual transmission to the Z NISMO, together with GT-R-inspired performance hardware, reinforces that philosophy for passionate enthusiasts. Combined with the refreshed styling and new Unryu Green finish, the MY26 Z marks an exciting new chapter for this iconic sports car.”

Orders for the MY26 Nissan Z are now open across New Zealand, with the first customer deliveries expected to begin in September 2026.
