GWM New Zealand is arriving at this year’s Fieldays with serious intent. Fresh off a top-five finish in New Zealand’s automotive market during April, the brand is bringing one of its biggest on-ground activations to date to Mystery Creek from 10 to 13 June.
Building on its partnership with the New Zealand Warriors, GWM has created a “GWM Sales Stadium” experience at site J26, complete with a large indoor showroom, an outdoor demonstration area, stadium-style seating, a giant screen and a towing challenge designed to put its model range through its paces.
The Warriors theme runs deep throughout the display. V Energy will demonstrate the Vehicle-to-Load capability of the GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV Hi4-T by using the ute to power a branded refrigeration unit, while Arnott’s will give visitors the chance to win a boot-load of Shapes products.
For those ready to buy, the event-exclusive offers are genuinely compelling. Every GWM Cannon purchased during June comes with up to $4,000 worth of free accessories, and zero-deposit finance with three months of deferred payments is available across the full GWM range. There are also savings of up to $3,000 across the Haval, Tank and Cannon range during the same period.
On-site exclusives add further appeal. The first six customers to purchase at Fieldays will receive a personalised Warriors number plate, and anyone who buys during the event goes in the draw to win a Warriors Park Up Sideline VIP Experience. GWM NZ Country Manager Cameron Thomas described Fieldays as one of the most important events on the New Zealand calendar, saying it provides the perfect platform to connect with Kiwis and showcase where the brand is heading.
