Ingham Tauranga Partners with Tauranga Arts Festival
27 August, 2025

Ingham Tauranga is proud to announce its partnership with the Tauranga Arts Festival, a landmark event that continues to inspire and connect communities across the Bay of Plenty.
Since its founding in 1998, the Festival has been dedicated to providing experiences that expand minds, delight audiences and showcase the diverse voices of New Zealand and beyond.
This year’s programme brings together an impressive line-up of artists, authors, performers, and creators. From the Escape readers’ and writers’ festival with literary heavyweights such as Damien Wilkins, Catherine Chidgey and Chelsea Winter, to the much-loved Schools Programme designed to spark curiosity among young people, the Festival offers a rich celebration of ideas, storytelling and creativity. With the addition of Tauranga Zinefest and a variety of free and ticketed events, the Festival ensures accessibility for all, strengthening its role as one of the region’s most important cultural gatherings.
As part of the partnership, Ingham Tauranga has proudly provided the Festival team with a branded Chery Tiggo 4. The vehicle, driven by General Manager of Tauranga Arts Festival Sarah Cotter, embodies the same bold spirit of innovation and modern design that defines the Festival itself. Stylish, practical and dynamic, the Tiggo 4 is a fitting symbol for an event that thrives on fresh thinking and creativity.

Ingham Tauranga is also delighted to sponsor Heartbreak Hotel, a standout performance from acclaimed New Zealand company EBKM (Yes Yes Yes). Combining story, science, and music, the production takes audiences on a powerful and relatable journey through the physiology of love and loss. Celebrated internationally for its authenticity and innovation, Heartbreak Hotel exemplifies the type of world-class performance that the Tauranga Arts Festival brings to local audiences.
“Ingham Tauranga is proud to support this year’s Festival and help bring world-class art and performance to our region. Just as the Festival champions bold ideas and creative expression, the Chery Tiggo 4 reflects modern style and fresh thinking, making this partnership a perfect match,” said Evan Campbell, General Manager of Ingham Tauranga.
With events already selling out, including Hayley Sproull’s The Baroness, the Festival promises to deliver an extraordinary programme of entertainment and cultural engagement. For full details and ticket information, visit www.taurangafestival.co.nz.
