Ingham Launches New Tauranga Dealership, Enhancing Bay of Plenty Presence
30 April, 2025

Ingham Motor Group is expanding its footprint in the Bay of Plenty with the acquisition of Shorland Peugeot Tauranga. From 1 May 2025, the dealership will be rebranded as Ingham Tauranga, marking a new chapter for the team and its customers.
While the name may be changing, the dedicated team will remain in place to ensure a seamless transition. Evan Campbell, the current General Manager, will continue to lead the dealership, maintaining the same high standard of service that the Tauranga community has come to expect.
“We’ve developed strong relationships with our customers, and becoming a part of the Ingham group allows us to keep delivering the trusted service and personal attention our customers value, now backed by additional support and resources,” said Evan.
“We’re all looking forward to what’s ahead. With the strength of the Ingham network behind us, we have the opportunity to build on what we’ve already established, and we’re excited about what’s to come.”
Trent Ingham, Managing Director of Ingham Motor Group, sees this addition as a natural extension of the company’s presence in the Bay of Plenty. “Ingham Tauranga is a valuable asset in our portfolio,” he confirmed. “This acquisition isn’t just about expanding our reach; it’s about building on the solid foundation the team has already put in place and helping them take it to the next level.
“We’ve always looked to bring in businesses that align well with our values and vision, and Shorland Peugeot Tauranga is a perfect example of that. Having seen what they have already accomplished, we believe there is strong potential for future growth, and we’re eager to begin working with Evan and his team. We’re also keen to broaden our offerings within the dealership, welcoming new vehicle brands to give our Tauranga customers even more choice.”
