2024 Isuzu D-Max revealed

Gear up, gents! The 2024 Isuzu D-Max is jumping into the spotlight with an awesome facelift, first unleashed in Thailand and soon to dominate local terrains. Sporting a fierce new front, this beast’s got an edge with its upgraded tail-lights and revamped interiors, borrowing some rugged features from its off-road warrior sibling, the MU-X.

This isn’t just any makeover; it’s a mid-life upgrade for the D-Max legacy that began back in 2019. Brace yourselves for those aggressive redesigned headlights, a sleek grey or ‘black chrome’ grille, and a bolder lower bumper featuring an air vent for that extra aerodynamic punch.

The exterior boasts those menacing “triple-armour” LED tail-lights, killer new wheel designs, and bolder flared wheel arches for the flagship D-Max V-Cross – a true king in New Zealand known as the X-Terrain.

Step inside to a driver’s paradise: paddle shifters right on your steering wheel, cooling front seats for those intense drives, an upgraded 7-inch semi-digital dashboard, and the latest USB-C charging ports. The central touchscreen might look the same, but it’s powered up with wireless Android Auto, joining forces with wireless Apple CarPlay.

Competing head-on with beasts like the Mitsubishi Triton, Ford Ranger, and VW Amarok, this monster is decked out with a digital cluster, widescreen infotainment, rear disc brakes, and that crucial wireless charger. And for those rugged adventures? The D-Max has got you covered with its ‘rough terrain mode’, optimizing brakes and torque for those challenging rock-climbing stints.

Isuzu’s upping their game with a front camera boasting a broader and sharper view. Under the hood, it’s all power with turbo-diesel options, six-speed manual or auto transmission, and a choice between two-wheel or part-time four-wheel drive.

Get ready, New Zealand! This revamped 2024 Isuzu D-Max is coming your way, with all the official details dropping soon. Stay revved up!
