The SUV that can go further

There’s a version of your life that doesn’t run on notifications or calendar invites but tide charts, trail conditions and weather reports. It measures distance in what’s over that hill, not kilometres. It tracks seasons by what’s hatching, what’s fruiting and when the next meteor shower is due.

You dream of a dawn surf at a point break that’s been building for days. A cold-water swim at a rock pool you only share with a handful of people. Or hiking to a thermal pool in the middle of winter and sinking into the heat while the cold air presses in around you.

Power to take you anywhere

That life just got its ultimate getaway machine. Ford has confirmed the Bronco Basecamp with a super hybrid; extended range electrified powertrain is officially heading to Australia and New Zealand.

Built for the surfers, the foragers, the trail runners, the fly fishers, the wild swimmers, the plein air painters and the star gazers, Bronco Basecamp is a different side of what Bronco has always stood for. It has a super-hybrid powertrain, combining electric driving with extended-range capability. And rather than asking you to conquer the landscape, it’s built to help you settle into it with everything you need for where the road ends and your reset begins.

When will it arrive?

The new Bronco Super Hybrid is scheduled to arrive in New Zealand dealerships from late 2027 with full specifications, fuel economy figures and additional details to be released closer to launch.
