GWM has expanded its Haval H6 line-up with two new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, both offered in the top Ultra grade. Available in 2WD and AWD configurations, the H6 PHEV combines strong performance with outstanding efficiency, giving Kiwi drivers a new electrified SUV option that blends practicality with innovation.

Design and Performance

From the front, the H6 PHEV carries Haval’s bold design language, complete with its large chrome grille and confident SUV stance. Under the bonnet, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine pairs with dual electric motors to deliver impressive power.

Despite its performance, efficiency is exceptional: fuel use is rated at just 1.0L/100km (2WD) and 1.1L/100km (AWD) on NEDC figures.

A 19kWh LFP battery provides up to 106km of electric driving (2WD) or 100km (AWD), covering most urban commutes without needing petrol. Using a CCS2 charging port, DC fast charging takes the battery from 30–80 percent in under 30 minutes

Interior and Technology

Inside, the H6 PHEV Ultra mirrors the premium specification of the wider Ultra range. Standard features include:
